This is the must-attend French music event for all metal fans and other lovers of music with powerful decibels... Every year since 2006, the Hellfest Summer Open Air, better known as Hellfest, has welcomed a huge number of bands, mainly with metal roots and, to a lesser extent, punk and hardcore.
With several tens of thousands of festival-goers and appearances by internationally renowned cult bands such as Alice Cooper, Kiss, Rammstein, Motörhead, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Tool and Deep Puprle, Hellfest has established itself as one of Europe's leading music festivals and one of France's leading cultural events.
After an incredible double anniversary edition in 2022, and the presence of prestigious artists such as Metallica, Korn, Deftones, Volbeat, Judas Priest, The Offspring, Deep Purple, Scorpions, Nine Inch Nails, Guns N'Roses, Alice Cooper, Sabaton, Ministry, Bad Religion, Nightwish, Airbourne, Doro, Epica and Avatar, Hellfest returned to Clisson from June 15 to 18, 2023 with four explosive new days. Festival-goers were treated to the sounds of Iron Maiden, Pantera, Slipknot, Behemoth, Def Leppard, Kiss, SUM 41, Puscifer and Elegant Weapons.
After so much excitement, Hellfest festival-goers can't wait to get back to Clisson and headbang to the rhythms of the great heavy metal, punk, hard rock, black metal and progressive metal bands!
So get your diaries ready! Hellfest will be back near Nantes from Thursday June 27 to Sunday June 30, 2024, a little later than usual. And once again, Hellfest has decided to fill your ears with four days of concerts and festivities!.
After weeks of anticipation, Hellfest has unveiled the first names of this new edition! So, who will have the honor of getting you bopping and hopping in the summer of 2024? Well, Dave Grohl and his Foo Fighters will be closing the 2024 edition of Hellfest on Sunday on Mainstage 1.
Also in Clisson in 2024 are Queens of the Stone Age, led by Josh Homme, and Californians The Offspring. Also announced are Japan's Babymetal, Britain's Nova Twins, Belgium's Brutus and Norway's Kvelertak!
