Lower Paxton Township Police on Monday said Justin told his father he was going to play tag with friends 90 minutes before he was found collapsed in his kitchen.

Police are still investigating Justin’s death. His father has since hired a Florida-based personal injury law firm, Osborne & Francis, to conduct their own separate probe.

Justin was a sophomore at Central Dauphin High School and would have turned 17 this week. He and his father moved to Lower Paxton from Jamaica in 2023.

Attorney Nick Johnson from Osborne & Francis is expected to appear at the Wednesday afternoon press conference alongside Justin’s father.Justin Johnson’s father, Orville Johnson, spoke at a 2 p.m. press conference outside his home on the 3000 block of Bianca Way in Lower Paxton Township. The home is where Orville found Justin unresponsive around 9:55 p.m. Friday after classmates chased him in the neighborhood earlier that night. The county coroner said Justin died from complications of sickle cell disease.
