A video of a man, reportedly Bloodhound Lil Jeff, being shot multiple times on Sunday is currently all over social media. In the aftermath, the entire Chicago rap community paid tribute to Lil Jeff.
Notably, the authenticity of both the video and the news of his death have not yet been confirmed.
The video has sparked speculation. Lil Jeff’s colleagues, together with influential journalists, paid their tribute to the Drill rapper.

Spot News reported that the shooting, according to initial reports, occurred on the 6600 block of S. Rhodes Avenue in Chicago, Illinois.
The victim was reportedly identified as Bloodhound Lil Jeff. He was later transferred to hospital. However, the rapper succumbed to his injuries.
The police do not yet want to officially confirm the identity. According to police reports, the man was shot nearly 12 to 15 times.
White House correspondent Kyle Mazza took to X, formerly Twitter, and wrote: “The victim was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. There are no suspects in custody. There were many shell casings at the crime scene,” National Press wrote.
The entire social media is currently flooded with the alleged video of the 21-year-old rapper sustaining a gunshot wound. That’s how he died.

Meanwhile, countless people went to Bloodhound Lil Jeff’s community and paid tribute to the rapper.
An Instagram account with his username _lilscom89, real name is Đâ Tweąkër, also took to Instagram and shared stories one after the other about the rapper, his friend. He wrote: “I love that you are with you very soon. Damn brudda, these shii don’t feel real.
According to some reports, the shooting is being considered a case of gang violence. Thus, the motive behind the shooting incident that led to the rappers’ deaths is shrouded in mystery and has yet to be determined.
