The miniature Australian Labradoodle, named August, was captured showcasing her exceptional behavior during a puppy training class by sitting on cue and listening to her teacher. The clip, which had been shared to TikTok on November 12 by @_auggiethedoggie, filmed 8-month-old August sitting calmly in the room filled with dogs and people, living up to the label of "teacher's pet." The clip has been viewed more than 997,000 times to date.


An overlaid text on the video read: "POV: [Point of view] Your puppy is a teacher's pet, and this is how she behaves in training class."

got her a month before college graduation from UCLA," August's owner, who would prefer to keep their identity private, told Newsweek. "I quickly realized she was a very smart dog, and so I made sure to put her in as much training as I could—this particular video is at PetSmart training school.


"She is a star student, and loves to learn."
