Bikini Beans Coffee has released a statement after an employee filmed Nautica Malone without pants at a drive-thru in Tempe, Arizona. TMZ reports that the video quickly went viral, and Malone later committed self-harm. 

Nautica Malone reportedly died on Saturday, January 11, from an alleged self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, according to the New York Daily News.

Bikini Beans Coffee shared a message on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, Jan. 14, in response to Nautica Malone’s passing. 

The chain java shop offered prayers to Malone’s family but emphasized that protecting their employees remains their top priority.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the individual involved during this difficult time. This was an unfortunate and tragic situation. As a company, the safety of our employees is always our top priority. 

In this case, an individual chose to commit a crime at one of our locations. 

We take incidents like this very seriously and remain committed to protecting our team and maintaining a safe and respectful environment. Thank you for your continued support.”
